SalahTrackr (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a prayer tracking application developed and operated by Never Iffy Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android (the “App”).

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

A. On-device app data

Prayer logs, streaks, app settings, and related content are stored locally on your device. We do not operate our own cloud database for this content.

B. Analytics and diagnostics data

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to collect usage and technical diagnostics data, such as app events, interaction patterns, app version, device type, operating system, crash traces, and related identifiers used by Google Firebase services.

C. Subscription and entitlement data

If you subscribe to SalahTrackr Premium, payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not receive your full card details. We may receive transaction and entitlement information needed to verify and provide premium access.

D. Device backup and transfer data

Depending on your device and operating system settings, your local app data may be included in platform backup or device-to-device transfer features (for example, Android backup/restore features and iCloud device backup behavior on iOS).

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under Article 6 GDPR, we process information on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — to provide the App and premium features you request.
  • Legitimate interests — to improve performance, reliability, and product quality (including analytics and diagnostics).
  • Legal obligations — where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
  • Consent — where required by applicable law for specific processing activities.

5. How We Use Information

  • Provide core app functionality and save your settings.
  • Provide, verify, and restore premium subscription access.
  • Monitor app usage trends and improve user experience.
  • Detect, investigate, and fix errors and crashes.
  • Maintain app security and reliability.
  • Comply with legal requirements and enforce our Terms.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services/processors:

  • Google Firebase Analytics — usage analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting and diagnostics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple App Store — app distribution, subscriptions, and payment processing.
  • Google Play Store — app distribution, subscriptions, and payment processing.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed with service providers and platforms described in this policy, including Google Firebase, Apple, and Google, and only for the purposes described above.

8. Data Retention

  • On-device data — retained locally until you delete the App, clear app data, or remove entries.
  • Backup copies — may persist according to your device/platform backup settings and provider retention schedules.
  • Analytics/diagnostics data — retained according to Firebase configuration and defaults that we set from time to time.
  • Subscription records — retained as needed for billing, fraud prevention, support, legal, and accounting purposes.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR/UK GDPR and certain US state laws), including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, and data portability where applicable.

  • Access and portability — request a copy of information we control where required by law.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — request deletion of information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Restriction/objection — request limits on certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 as a primary audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

11. International Data Transfers

Information processed by our third-party providers may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your jurisdiction, including outside the EEA/UK. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms made available by those providers.

12. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information we process. However, no security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, software updates, and access credentials.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the latest changes were made. Where legally required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
